Do you have unused or redundant core RAMM tables cluttering up your database? Did you know you can now remove these tables?

In this post we set out to remove a core RAMM table using the new Table Manager application.

First we look at how to find the RAMM Table Manager application. We then remove the Features table and look at what this means for your database (plus detail a sneaky little way to still access the table). Then we bring it back again by restoring the Features table back to our RAMM database.

This article is the launch of a new set of posts on the TalkData blog; The RAMM Download Series. RAMM hosts a significant volume of asset information for different road controlling authorities around New Zealand, Australia and Fiji.

Assuming you have the permissions to one or more of these RAMM databases, RAMM is actually quite an 'open' system.

RAMM security zones define sets or groupings of roads in your network. These zones can reflect things like geographic areas (e.g. North area vs South area), regulatory or political boundaries, or maintenance contract boundaries.

In this post we are going to walk through how filter your RAMM network by security zones, in both the RAMM Map and RAMM Grid apps.
